How To Use Magnetic Strips

Magnetic Strips have you ever wondered what you could do with magnetic tape I’m Kevin with fine tape comm stick around that I’ll run through some of the uses to briefly start with let me go over the different magnetic tapes. we have we have a few few options first is a white bond white block tape so magnetic on the backside and I’ll cut a piece of this and it’s magnetic here. it is on the junction box it’ll stay that’s really the first option we have we sell a lot of this in warehouses where you can put a strip of this magnetic tape.

The shelving and then you can write on here with an expo marker I’ll just say Junction one and then obviously. if it changes you can either take take it off put it on the shelf if you’re storing that in a different location now or you could just wipe it off wipe it off and start over the next two tapes. we have are adhesive back magnetic tape this is the jvc seam a go one on the website I’m going to cut a pieces of this off so it has a release liner on it so adhesive on the back so I’ll still put it on on this junction box take.

Adhesive back magnetic tape

This one off and then we have the mag o2 so it’s twice the thickness of the mag oh one cut a roll of that take off the release liner again put it on this junction box there you go so twice a thickness so when this tape is used for really. If you have an item that’s ferromagnetic that will be attracted to a magnet you could put it on the back of a wall obviously I use on a junction box you wouldn’t have to do this the surface doesn’t have to be metallic.  You can put it on a wall on something and you can hold up items that are ferromagnetic and I have a couple items here obviously you know aluminum foil that would not be far magnetic that is not going to not be attracted at all I have stainless steel here’s a robertson head screw stainless steel is not for our magnetic that’s not going to stay however here. I have some washers those are obviously going to stay on and on this tape because it’s twice the thickness the mag oh – it’s really going to be able to support a lot lot heavier items most people get the mag awone.

Magnetic tape we sell the short answer

If you have say a metallic nameplate and you want to put that on your door that this would easily be able to hold that up but if you have heavier items you probably want to go to the mango – obviously coins well here’s a nickel really not a lot of nickel and a nickel anymore so that will not be attracted because nickel is paramagnetic. I have here a couple pennies in in World War two for a short time they made steel cents so I have a couple of those that’s steel so that is going to be attracted to the magnet and you know standard nails and such that roofing nails not going to be attracted you see some some nails on here and paperclips another question we got a little past a lot is if I cut you know I have a strip of magnetic tape.  If I cut it in half will it be attracted to its own and the magnetic tape we sell the short answer is no we sell single pole magnetic tape so here if I take a strip if I try to put these two tapes together there will not be attracted to one another to learn more or to purchase the three magnetic tapes. I talked about today and pretty much any kind of adhesive tape you could think of please check us out at fine tape you.
